The regulator was keen to give the Banking Disputes Committee the powers necessary to settle the dispute and issue a decision. In order to do so, it has to submit the agreements between the parties and the supporting documents and the use of technical expertise. The committee was also given the aim of obliging the debtor to implement the determinative decisions related to its jurisdiction, As well as to prevent him from dealing with government agencies and banks, and to prevent him from traveling. The Committee may also include its decisions on expedited access in accordance with specific cases, as stipulated in Royal Decree No. 37441, 11/8 / 1433H to oblige the concerned authorities – each according to its competence – to implement the final decisions issued by any of the committees and decisions of the Executive Committee and the decisions covered by accelerated access.
